  After the obnoxious advertising coming from a noisy airplane in the beautiful blue Vancouver sky that we get to see so rarely, my friends and I will most certainly never be clients of Burrard Roofing. I completely agree with the previous post.

  I would like to give Burrard Roofing a 10 star rating! I live in Penticton BC and have a tar and gravel roof. In February after a heavy snowfall and quick melt, I noticed a leak on the outside of my living room window. Not wanting this to turn into a big problem, I promptly called a roofing company here in town. They came out to look and said they would give me a call and I haven't really had any response back. We had a lot of rain in the spring and the damage looked like it was getting worse so I called another roofing company to come have a look. They stood me up 2 days in a row and then finally came to look when I called back but no response since then. (2 months ago). I am a loyal Jack Fm listener so I took advantage of their ask an expert on the website ( for home improvements). I emailed in my problem and the next day received a response from Burrard Roofing based out of Vancouver. Wally told me that he had an employee who was vacationing in Vernon ( 1.5hours from here) and that he would have this employee contact me on the holiday monday -August long weekend- to set up a time to come to my home and give me an estimate on what had to be done. On the holiday Monday I received a call from Gerry to set up a time to come see me on Tuesday- on his way home. I called him back and he arranged to come by my house before I had to go to work in the morning. He was here at 8:30am. We went up on the roof and he told me what needed to be done and gave me and estimate of what should be done and the approximate cost. He then proceeded to ask for a phone book and called the roofing company on my behalf to have them come out again for another look. Gerry was very professional and explained every thing to me. I even talked to his boss that day! The first roofing company that I had called did come out the very next day to have another look and said that they would be out to fix my roof when they could. So I will wait for them but not forever. If they don't show up in a reasonable time line I will be calling Burrard Roofing to come and fix my problem. I have worked in the service industry for 30 years and know the value of good service. Burrard Roofing exceeded my expectations! I would recommecalling Burrard Roofing to come and fix my roof
