Went for snowboarding lessons. The instructor, Lauren, was awesome. She was very nice and a good source of information. I definitely recommend going as early as possible because it can get busy on beautiful, sunny, clear days and parking quickly becomes hard to find. The rental process was easy and equipment was in good shape. Highly recommended!

Spent the last weekend of the year at Mount Seymour. Had my 12 and 9 year old in ski and snowboard camp. Instructors were great and the school was very organized. Kids loved it and so did Mom and Dad as we had a few hours free to hit the hill. Lift ticket was half price too for putting the kids in school as well as preferred parking and lane up the mountain. Runs were well groomed. They aren't as long as other hills but still great value. Cafeteria food was okay but could use improvement for the price. Great resort all in all. I will be heading back for sure.

Went hiking on dog mountain trail with my 11lb miniature poodle on Christmas eve. There hasn't been much fresh snow, so I was able to hike with cleats, rather than wearing snowshoes. Trail wasn't too busy but had many dogs off-leash which made me feel uncomfortable as several of them were rather too friendly by almost jumping on my dog. It's a leash-required trail but I was genuinely surprised to see that no dogs were leashed except for mine. I wish the rule can be emphasized more. Other than that, the trails themselves were well kept and the view was okay.

The mountains not the greatest compared to the other local ones; however, it offers great bang for buck. The runs are sorry so you don't really get tired. The only real downside is they have just two lists so line ups can be long. It is a good beginner mountain as it has some decent small greens. Watch out for flat parts on other runs especially if you board.Plus it isn't as busy as the larger mountains. If you looking for a quick escape that's closer to town you can't go wrong.

Came here for the toboggan runs with the family. So much fun! Whether you're skiing, snow shoeing, or hiking in summer, you will be treated to fantastic views. The staff are helpful and engaging to both beginners and enthusiasts alike.
